Why has Noble turned to s**t?

I have never slated him before and never gone along with Rodfarts, but he was really poor today. It seems to me his form mirrors that of the whole team. In the first half of the season, okay, he wasn't always at his best but had some cracking games and played a significant part in what was a very successful side. Since then he has often been woeful and seems to be getting worse - negative, over-cautious, lacking in creativity or adventure, and frequently losing possession. I wonder if he will be able to adjust to a more positive style under a new manager (please God) or has Allardyce really got inside his head?

Start of the season, all players seemed to be something special. Bit of spark, hunger and a real sense of achievement in their game. End of season crap.

The Allerdicci way of playing sucks the creativity and ability out of most players until they become so scared to be on the ball for longer than 5 seconds or to do anything else but fucking hit it high and forward or back so someone else can hit it high and forward.

I remember Allardyce saying he wouldn't play 4-4-2 unless he had the best 2 strikers in the prem.
Well he did play 4-4-2 and even used the diamond. Then all of a sudden, while it was all working he changed it. Oh of course Carroll and Nolan were back. Then the confidence that was there lasted a few games, then it fell to rat shit. No more 4-4-2.

He has always been the same just that when we aren't playing well the weaknesses in his game which there are a few are exposed much more but are not so apparent when better players around him are doing well.

He was good in the first half today then abysmal in the second half although he made a good tackle. We should've gone 2-0 up but he dithered on the ball for way too long again and he lost possession and they went on and scored.

Noble is caught far too often in possession for my liking. He tries the old Parker Pirouette far too often but not to the same effect.
His free kicks and corners are also awful. I'm still amazed that he was given a five year contract, he has become even worse since then.

He's a victim of circumstances. We've been treading water as a club for most of his career. If things had been better i.e. better investment, better managers he could easily have been another Pirlo.
